Refund policy


We understand that buying clothing online can be a bit tricky. That is why at The Tailor & his Lover, we have a generous return policy for any products that you are not happy with. From receipt of your order, you have 14 days to return the order to us if you are unhappy. 

Refunds
Items being returned must be new and unworn with the original tags still attached. You will have an option of a refund, exchange for any other colour, size or style that you would like or a store credit.
Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you wish to exchange an item, you will be responsible for paying for returning your item, and the cost of  shipping for the exchanged item will be charged to you as well. If simply returning an item, a refund will be given minus 10$ shipping cost within New Zealand.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item if you send it untracked. All shipments from The Tailor & his Lover are sent tracked.

Exchanges
If you require an exchange on a full priced item, please let us know within the 14 day period. Items being returned must be new and unworn with the original tags still attached. 
If it is a size change and the item is not available in your requested size, we will issue you with a store voucher to the value of your return, or give you a refund. Please note vouchers are valid for 6 months.

As soon as your item has been received we will despatch your new item as per your instructions. Please note that a shipping fee will be required prior to despatch.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged. Sale items are final purchases.
