The Founder
Felicity Hannay is a designer, editor, and creative director whose career spans fashion, publishing, and advertising. She founded the groundbreaking teen magazine Charlie, worked at top creative agencies, and in 2016 launched The Tailor & his Lover on Waiheke Island, New Zealand—a slow-fashion label dedicated to timeless tailoring and hand-selected natural fibres. Her enduring love of the white shirt remains a signature: a symbol of simplicity, sophistication, and design that doesn't shout.
